PM's application renewal in July 2023

In this article I want to summarize of the activities of PM validator during the last session.

Validator Introduction

My node's name is PM. The primary purpose of setting up this node is to ensure the stability of the LikeCoin chain and share the associated risks. Additionally, when possible, I'll also support writing contests on the Matters platform to help enhance its vibrancy.

Fulfilling the Duty of Validators, Voting on proposals

• Joined LikeCoin v4.0.0 ChungKing Upgrade

LikeCoin chain was planning to upgrade around UTC 1100, 5th June. As a validator, I prepare myself, stand by, and cooperate with others if it is necessary; upgrading was successful and smooth in the end.

• Initiating Submissions of Community Contest

To boost community engagement, I am planning to organize two Community essay contests. We're brainstorming themes, event scopes, formats, judging criteria, and the duration for each contest.

• Organizing face-to-face Promotion Events

To promote the Matters community, I have been invited to offline study group where we'll provide insights for newcomers, both those with some writing experience and those without. We'll analyze the pros and cons of various writing platforms, explain why choosing Matters as a creative platform is beneficial, and offer guidance on getting started and integrating into the Matters community.

Commission Rate

My commission fee will be set at 50% to help offset operating costs and some related COSMOS ecosystem testing.
